Welcome to our blog!
Our names are Toni and Emily, and we're two twenty-somethings who love to read. We both majored in English in college, and we met in graduate school where we were both studying to become English/Language Arts teachers. We spent the following year teaching English in the same high school, both as long term subs.
A few years have passed, and our friendship has grown. We've always loved talking about books, and even belong to the same book club. So the decision to start blogging about books just made sense. We're both avid readers and we wanted to have the opportunity to share our love for books with others.. just like we do as teachers.
In this blog, we will each post about the books we've read. Sometimes, each month, we'll read the same book for book club, so sometimes we might comment on the book together. For each entry, we'll give our readers a little background about the book, then talk about what we thought of it.
